Meet Stephanie

Stephanie Chiselbrook

LPC, LCDC

Stephanie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Tarleton State University, not fully realizing what she wanted to do with her career. She landed her first post-graduate job as a public relations college recruiter. While traveling across the great state of Texas, she interacted with hundreds of high school students, parents, and counselors. After a few short months, Stephanie discovered that she had a burning passion for helping others and returned to Tarleton State University where she enrolled in the LPC/School Counseling Dual Program, this time earning her Master's Degree in Counseling.

As a school counselor with 13 years of experience, she is committed to breaking the stigma around mental health.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Stephanie works with children, teens, and young adults who are seeking help with ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, career and life transitions.

As a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor she works with clients to gain insight into their behaviors, learn healthier ways to manage stress and emotions, and receive the support they need to build a life focused on health and well-being.

Stephanie is a Certified Parenting Instructor who works with parents and caregivers to learn effective parenting skills that will empower them to build strong, healthy relationships with their children. With her, you will find a judgment-free, safe, and nurturing environment where healing and growth can take place.

Stephanie recognizes mental well-being is connected to every part of life including the physical, emotional, cultural, and social aspects. Through casual conversation, she will take a holistic approach to treatment. Using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy techniques she empowers her clients to do the work, get stronger, and find healing.

When Stephanie is away from the office she is busy spending time with her family, traveling, reading a new novel, or cheering on her favorite sports teams.

Meet Kristen

Kristen Campbell, LPC

Kristen received her Bachelor's in Education at West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas. She taught in Amarillo for ten years before moving back home. Once home, she felt the nudge to return to West Texas A&M and enrolled in the LPC/School Counseling Dual Program to earn her Master's in Counseling. Kristen began her counseling career in the education setting as a school counselor with Ennis ISD.

Kristen keeps the following quote in her heart to guide her in the therapeutic office. The quote is from Frederick Douglass, who says, "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men." With Kristen's extensive background in working with children, she understands early therapeutic intervention's impact on an individual and how childhood events can affect adulthood and relationships.

As a school counselor, Kristen regularly received calls from parents seeking advice and guidance. Because of this, she received the Parenting Instructor Certification to provide parents with knowledge, practical tools, and emotional support without judgment or bias.

Kristen is also a Premarital Counseling Facilitator and is excited to work with couples and newlyweds to prepare, explore, and strengthen the relationship's foundation.

Although Kristen works well with children and families, she has seen many clients. One group she enjoys working with is those diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder(BPD). She is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy(DBT). She sees clients with BPD individually and runs DBT groups.

Kristen has worked with a variety of clients, which include symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, depression, negative self-esteem, complex PTSD, PTSD, schizophrenia, couple's conflict, family conflict, infidelity, domestic abuse, and parenting. Kristen has also worked with several Ellis County families on their journey to adoption through screenings, observations, and interviews.

When Kristen is not in the therapy office, she tends to her houseplants and loves her little Yorkie, Oliver.
